Analytical Data Integrity Protocol
At Simple, we take privacy seriously because trust is foundational to healthcare infrastructure. We design our data practices to support embedded insurance workflows inside EHRs while respecting the sensitivity of provider, practice, and patient-related information. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our services.
Information Collection
We collect only the information needed to operate our platform and support insurance-related workflows. This may include account details, business and provider information, credentialing and enrollment data, billing-related information, and technical usage data from integrated systems. When connected through an EHR or other authorized platform, we may also receive information necessary to facilitate payer access, administrative operations, and service functionality.
Use and Storage of Information
We use information to provide, maintain, and improve our services, including onboarding, payer enrollment support, claims-related workflows, reporting, security monitoring, and customer support. Information is stored using industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. We retain data only for as long as needed to deliver our services, meet legal or contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers and infrastructure partners that help us operate the platform, such as hosting, security, analytics, credentialing, and payment-related vendors. We may also share information when required to support authorized insurance, billing, or compliance workflows, or when required by law. Any such sharing is limited to what is necessary for the relevant purpose and subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.
